Transfer Pricing Manager – TAX

Salary: R600 000 – R900 000 per annum

The SNG Grant Thornton team is seeking an energetic transfer pricing manager to join the growing team in an international professional services firm global organisation. The transfer pricing team forms part of the greater Tax Advisory Division.

The role entails independently attending and leading transfer pricing assignments, which includes:

Preparation and review of transfer pricing reports including functional analysis; industry analysis; company analysis and economic analysis;
Benchmarking analysis and data analysis;
Functional analysis interviews and preparation;
Support for transfer pricing partner in all aspects of marketing and business development;
Thoroughly and accurately analyze information, apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients’ financial circumstances;
Take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans;
Develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely, responsive services/work products, and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services;
Defend client transfer pricing in audits;
Co-ordination of multiple country engagements in relation to the above responsibilities;
Conduct presentations for educational seminars for clients;
Carrying out research relating to a variety of tax and other related issues (covering the full spectrum of transfer pricing) and compiling appropriate reports/opinions/letters and other documents
Budget management in respect of client engagements
